LeagueUSA, Inc. was founded in 2002 as a software development company focused on simplifying, improving, and growing the world of non-professional sports. Beginning with unparalleled expertise in automated game scheduling, we have established one of the largest, if not the largest, paying customer-base in the sports and recreation software industry.

Our Mantra:

“LeagueUSA’s goal is to do well by doing good.
Our customers are our partners with this goal in common.”

This saying was adopted from Benjamin Franklin's own self-governing motto, “To do well by doing good.” We took the liberty of adding, “Our customers are our partners with this goal in common.” As we honestly believe that to be the case.

Our Mission:

We remain focused on continuing to innovate new, critical, and easy to use software while keeping costs at an affordable level. We want every organization, regardless of economic circumstances, to have an equal opportunity to reach out to their community, provide a quality service, and then manage the growth that inevitably follows a job well done.

PresidentMarc Mandt holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University and has been developing software professionally since 1992. In 1993 he founded Biggabytes Software, which built, marketed, and supported Leading Edge Sports Scheduler. Which is believed to be the first artificially intelligent game scheduling solution for nonprofessional recreation leagues. Later, as V.P. of Product Development for Biz-E-Solutions, Inc., he led the design and implementation of American Software’s e-Applications product suite, streamlined over a dozen Fortune 500 companies core processes, and led the creation of numerous other retail products (from digital dental x-rays to hotel property management) for various companies. In 2002, he left the consulting world behind to launch LeagueUSA, Inc., reshaping the recreation software industry to be what we know it as today.

Director of Sales, Charles Mandt received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University. Now inducted into the GVSU Sports Hall of Fame, Charlie played professional basketball for 10 years after college. However, he spent his off seasons working with Biz-E-Solutions, Inc.. Where he wrote tutorials, developed course materials, and led training sessions for numerous high-profile software products. While he wears many hats for LeagueUSA [sales, support, and technical writing], it is his tireless work ethic and his mastery at sales force automation that is the gasoline which powers LeagueUSA's customer relationships.

Director of Online Services, Jimmy Dutka received his B.S. in Physics from Georgia State. He has been in software development since 1995. With particular expertise in HTML, Java, and Linux, he has worked on many large scale Internet based applications including AIG's e-commerce infrastructure, American Software's e-Order, and The Weather Channel. He is crucial to the building and direction of LeagueUSA’s Internet based products and services.
